the diagonals of a rhombus are 12cm and 9cm long.calculate the length of one side of the rhombus

it is of Phythagoras Theorem but I want to know the answer with proper explanation

We know that the diagonals of rohmbus bisect each other at 90°.

Hence,

6²+4.5² = side²

36+20.25 = side²

56.25 = side²
Side = √56.25

= 7.5cm
