let the rhombus abcd with centre O

BC = 16cm

8cm +8cm =16cm

BO +OC = 16cm

similarly AD = 12cm

AO +OD = 12cm

6cm +6cm = 12cm

Now using the Pythagoroas theorem we get,

a²+b²= c²

oc²+od²=cd²

8²+6²= cd²

64+36 = cd²

100= cd²

100= cd

CD = 10cm.
