The diagonals of a rhombus measure 16cm and 30cm. Find its perimeter.

we will first find the sides of the rhombus by using Pythagoras theorem
A square+ B square = C square
16×16 + 30 ×30 = x
256 + 900= x
1156 =x

since 34 × 34 = 1156
therefore value of x is 34

now the perimeter of the rhombus = 4 × side
= 4 × 34
= 136 cm

therefore the perimeter of a rhombus = 136 cm
