The diagonals of an isosceles trapezium are 2x-5 cm qnd 25-3x cm . find the lengths of both of the diagonals.

Answer:

∵ The diagonals of an isosceles trapezium are of equal length

∴ 3x – 8 = x

⇒ 3x – x = 8 cm

⇒ 2x = 8 cm

⇒ x = 4 cm

∴ The value of x is 4 cm
