As we can see in the image, the slope of AB and CD is same, that is gradient value is similar, but the length of CD is more than AB. It is because more energy is required from converting liquid to gas than from solid to liquid.

As far as the melting and boiling points are concerned,  t1 is the melting point while t3 is the boiling point
