Given, the sides of a triangle are 5cm,12cm and 13cm

semi−perimeter =

2

a+b+c

s= 2(5+12+13)

s= 230

s=15cm

Area of the triangle (according to the Heron's Formula)

= s(s−a)(s−b)(s−c)

= 15(15−5)(15−12)(15−13)

= 15(10)(3)(2)

= 900

=30cm 2
