The diagrams below show pins suspended from the same magnet
maximum limit in two different cases. State with a reason whether the set
pins A or the set of pins B are made out of soft iron. Also define the magnetic
process which enables us to suspend the pins one below the other.

Answer:Both pins are of soft iron

Explanation:

Both pins are made of soft iron because they were attracted towards the bar magnet and if you bring some other attracting material they were attracted towards the pins which shows that it acts as a temporary magnet which is the quality of soft iron.

the process which causes it to suspend is the magnetic induction.

Magnetic induction

Explanation:

The two sets of pins, set A and  set B, are attracted towards the magnet and they attract other pins. So they act as temporary magnets and the north pole of one pin is connected to the south pole of the other and so on. So they should be made of a material that can act as temporary magnets. So Set A and Set B are made of soft iron pins.

The process which causes it to suspend is the magnetic induction.
