Then the radius of the roller r = 98/2
= 49cm.
We know that Area of roller = Curved surface of the cylinder
= 2pirh
= 2 * 22/7 * 49 * 120
= 36960 cm^2.
Therefore Area of 1 revolution = 36960 cm^2.
Area of 1000 revolutions = 36960 * 1000
= 36960000cm^2
= 36960000 * 1/100 * 1/100
= 3696m^2.
Therefore the area of the playground = 3696m^2.
