The diameter of a bicycle wheel is 28 cm.what distance will it cover in 100 revolutions?

D = 28 cm
r = 14
c = 2πr
= 2 x 22/ 7 x 14
=88 cm
distance covered in 100 revolution = 88 x 100 = 8800 m

here's ur answer..

given:-

diameter of the wheel=28cm

therefore radius of the wheel=28/2

=14cm

we have to find the circumference of the wheel to find the the distance covered in 100 revolution.

circumference of the wheel=2πr

=2×22/7×14

=2×22×2

=44×2

=88cm

hence, distance covered in 100 revolution =88×100

=8800cm

in metres=8800/100

=88m
