Answer: As we know that

Diameter =2*radius

20=2*radius

Radius =20/2

Radius =10m

Circumference of circle =2πr

=2×22/7×10

=2×3.14×10

=2×31.4

=62.8 m

Given:

The diameter of a circle is 20 m.

To Find:

The radius and circumference of the circle.

Solution:

To find the radius and parameter of the circle we will follow the following steps:

As we know,

The area of the circle is πr² and the parameter is 2πr.

r is the radius of the circle.

The diameter is double of radius.

So,

radius =   \frac{diameter}{2}

radius =   \frac{20}{2}  = 10 \: metres

Parameter = 2πr = 2 \times 3.14 \times 10 = 62.8 \: metres

Henceforth, the radius and parameter of the circle are 10 and 62.8 respectively.
