The diameter of a circular Park is 24 m. A 3M wide path runs around it from inside. Find the cost of paving path at rupees 25 per square metre

cost of paving the path=area×25/-
area=area of whole figure(including path) -area of park
diameter of park=24m , radius=12m
Diameter of bigger circle=24+(3+3)
=30cm , radius=15cm


area of smaller circle (park)=πr²
area=22/7×12×12
=452.57 m²


area of bigger circle=πr²
=22/7×15×15
=707.14 m²

area of path=707.14-452.57
=254.57m²

so cost of paving=254.57×25
=6364.25 rupees
