DIAMETER = 70.m
RADIUS= 70/2=35m
AS THE ATHELETE RUNS AROUND IT. SO HE COVERS THE CIRCUMFERENCE.
CIRCUMFERENCE =
2×22/7×35=44/7×35=44×5=220.m
AS HE RUNS 3 TIMES SO.
220×3= 660.m
so he cover 660m2

Given,
Diameter = 70 m
Radius (r) = d/2 = 70/2 = 35 m
As we know that,
Circumference = Distance Covered = 2πr
=> D = 2 x 22/7 x 35
=> D = (44 x 5) m
=> D = 220 m
As Athlete complete 3 rounds.
=> Total Distance = (3 x 220) m = 660 m
Hence,
Total Distance coverd = 660 m
