2/3 x 3 x3 -- 0.1 x0.1 x h then, 6 -- 0.01 x h then , h -- 6 /0.01 --600

Given,

Diameter of a metallic sphere is 6 cm.

Diameter of the cross-section is 0.2 cm.

To find out,

Find the length of the wire.

Solution:

As it is given the diameters we can find radius.

Radius of metallic sphere = 6/2 = 3 cm

Radius of cross section of cylindrical wire = 0.1 cm

Let the length of wire be 'l'cm

Volume of metal used in wire = volume of the sphere

 \pi \:  {r}^{2} h \:  =  \frac{4}{3}  \pi \:  {r}^{3}

 \pi \:  \times 0.1  \times 0.1 \times h =  \frac{4}{3}  \times  \pi \times 3 \times 3 \times 3

 \pi \times  \frac{1}{100}  \times h = 36 \pi

h =  \frac{36 \pi \times 100}{ \pi}

h \:  = 3600 \: cm

h = 36 \: m

Therefore the length of the wire is 36 meters.
