The diameter of a road roller is 70 cm and its length is 1 m. It
takes 250 revolutions to move once over to level a playground.
Find area of the playground in m2

70cm = 0.7m

diameter = 0.7 => radius = 0.7/2

road roller is a kind of cylinder

C.S.A of road roller = 2πrh = 2 × 22/7 × 0.7/2 × 1

= 2.2m²

for 1 revolution ................. 2.2m²

then, for 250 revolutions ........... ?

= 250×2.2 = 550m²

SO, THE AREA OF PLAY GROUND = 550M²
