Explanation:

Volume of the given Sphere =5.13 cm³

Explanation:

Given:-

the diameter of a sphere is 2.14cm .

To find:

calculate the volume of the sphere to the correct number of significant figures

Solution:-

Diameter of the given sphere (d)=2.14 cm

Radius(r)=Diameter/2

=>r=d/2

=>r=2.14/2

=>r=1.07 cm

Radius of the sphere =1.07cm

Using formula:-

If the radius of the sphere is r units then the volume of the sphere is (4/3)πr³ cubic units

=>Volume of the given sphere

=>(4/3)×(22/7)×(1.07)³

=>(4×22×1.07×1.07×1.07)/(3×7)

=>107.803784/21

= 5.1335...

Correct it to the two decimals

Volume =5.13 cm³

Answer:-

Volume of the given Sphere =5.13 cm³
