The diameter of a sphere is 28 cm find the cost of painting it all around at rs0.10 per square cm

the diameter of sphere = 28 cm

so

r= 28 /2 = 14cm

so the surface area of sphere = 4(22/7)(14)(14

= 2464 cm^2

since


the cost of painting of per centimeter sq= 0.10rs


so the total cost of painting = 2464(0.10)

= 246.4 rs

The diameter of a sphere is 28\: cm\\

cost of Painting per square cm Rs.0.10

Find:-

Find the cost of painting the sphere.

Formula for area of a sphere is 4\pi r^{2}

Radius of a sphere is \frac{D}{2}.

Substitute the value of Diameter in the valu equation we get,

R=\frac{28}{2}=14cm

The area of a sphere 4\times \pi \times 14^{2}

=4\times \pi \times 196\\=2461.76 \:cm^{2}

The cost of painting all the sphere is ,

=2461.76\times 0.10\\=246.176.

Rs.246.176

Hence the cost of painting the sphere is Rs.246.176

Note:correct question should be:-
