GIVEN :-

  • Diameter of Circle , d = 1.4 m.
  • No. of rotation = 10.

TO FIND :-

  • Distance to be travelled in 10 rotations.

SOLUTION :-

 \\ : \implies \displaystyle \sf \: Radius \: (r) = \frac{diameter}{2} \\ \\ \\

: \implies \displaystyle \sf \: Radius \: (r) = \frac{1.4}{2} \\ \\ \\

: \implies \underline{ \boxed{\displaystyle \sf \: Radius \: (r) =0.7 \: m.}} \\ \\

________________________

 \\ \dashrightarrow \displaystyle \sf \:1 \: rotation = circumference \: of \: wheel. \\ \\ \\

 \dashrightarrow \displaystyle \sf \:1 \: rotation = 2\pi r \\ \\ \\

 \dashrightarrow \displaystyle \sf \:1 \: rotation = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 0.7 \\ \\ \\

 \dashrightarrow \displaystyle \sf \:1 \: rotation = 22 \times 2 \times 0.1 \\ \\ \\

 \dashrightarrow \displaystyle \sf \:1 \: rotation = 44 \times 0.1 \\ \\ \\

 \dashrightarrow \underline{ \boxed{ \displaystyle \sf \:1 \: rotation = 4.4 \: m.}} \\ \\

_______________________

 \\ \longrightarrow \displaystyle \sf 10 \: rotation \: = 10 \times 4.4 \\ \\ \\

\longrightarrow \underline{ \boxed{ \displaystyle \sf \: 10 \: rotation \: = 44 \: m.}} \\ \\

  \therefore \underline{ \displaystyle \sf \: Distance \: covered \: in \: 10 \: rounds \: is \: 44 \: m.} \\
