Answer:

r = 70/2 = 35cm

circumference = 2πr

= 2× 22/7×35

= 2×22×5

= 220cm

distance covered after 1000 revolutions

= 1000×220

= 220000cm

= 2200m

= 2.2km

Answer:

To find the distance first we have to find the how much distance the wheel will cover in one round that is circumference then by multoplying the circumference with 1000 we could find the distance.

Given

Diameter = 70 cm

Revolutions= 1000

Radius = d/2 = 70/2 = 35

Circumference = 2 × 22/7 × 35

= 44×5

= 220

So, distance = 220× 1000

= 220000cm

= 2200m

= 2.2 km
