The diameter of a wheel of a car is 70cm.How many revolutions will it make to travel 99km?​

GIVEN:

   Diameter of the wheel=70cm=0.7m    [∵1cm=1/100m]

   Distance covered by the wheel=99km=99000m  [∵1km=1000m]

TO FIND:

      No.of revolutions

SOLUTION:

circumference of the wheel=πd=22/7×0.7=2.2m

We know that,

no.of revolutions=distance covered/circumference

n=99000/2.2

n=45000 revolutions
