First calculate the true vale, i.e., mean of 1 cm, 1.002 cm and 1.006 cm.

True Value= 1.0026667 or 1.003(in round figures)

Absolute Error= |(measured value) - (true value)| = |1.000-1.003| = |-0.003|=0.003
