It will cost Rs.24640 to paint both sides of 100 such lids at rate of ₹20 per sq.m

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of circular lid = 2.8 m

Radius of circular lid = \frac{2.8}{2}=1.4 m

Area of circular lid =\pi r^2 = \frac{22}{7} \times 1.4^2 =6.16 sq.m.

Area of both sides = 6.16 +6.16 =12.32  sq.m.

Area of 100 lids = 12.32 \times 100 = 1232 sq.m.

Cost of painting 1 sq.m. = Rs.20

Cost of painting 1232 sq.m. =1232 \times 20=24640

Hence It will cost Rs.24640 to paint both sides of 100 such lids at rate of ₹20 per sq.m
