To find:

The minimum height required to go round the loop.

Solution:

The incline rolling plane has the condition.

Loss in potential energy= gain in the kinetic energy.

mgh=mv²/2

v=$\sqrt{2gh}$

Lowest point=$\sqrt{5gr}$

Therefore

$\sqrt{5gr} =\sqrt{2gh}$

h=5r/2

Put the value of r=1.25

h=5×1.25/2

=3.125 m

The minimum height to go round the loop is  3.125 m
