Answer:

r = 0.2m

H = 0.2*3/4 = 0.15m

V = π(0.2)²*(0.15) = 0.01884 m³

now ,

1m³ = 1000 litre

0.01884m³ = 18.84 litre

The volume of the cylinder is 18.84 liters

Step-by-step explanation:

Diameter of cylinder = 0.4 m

Radius of cylinder =\frac{diameter}{2} =\frac{0.4}{2}=0.2 m

Height of cylinder = 3/4 of its base radius = \frac{3}{4} \times 0.2 = 0.15 m

Volume of cylinder = \pi r^2 h =3.14 \times 0.2^2 \times 0.15 =0.01884 m^3

1 m^3 = 1000 liters

0.01884 cubic m =0.01884 \times 1000 =18.84 liters

Hence the volume of the cylinder is 18.84 liters
