The diameter of the base of a right circular cylinder is 4.2 dm and its height is 1 dm then find the area of the curved surface in centimetres square

Given,
d= 4.2 dm= 2.1 dm
h= 1 dm
Now,
C.S.A.= 2πrh
= 2*22/7*2.1*1
= (44*3)/10
= 132/10
= 13.2 dm²
Now,
1 dm²= 100 cm²
13.2 dm²= 13.2*100 cm²
= 1320 cm²
