the diameter of the circle is 52cm and length of one of its chord is 20cm . find the distance of the chord from the centre

Answer:

Diameter= 52 cm

Radius= 26 cm

Chord= 20 cm

therefore OA=OB= 10 cm

OD= √(26)²-(10)² = 24 cm
