hello frnd!

here's ur answer...

given the diameter of the wheel is 70cm.

therefore radius will be=70/2

=35cm

circumference of the wheel=2πr

=2×22/7×35

=44×5

=220cm

in km=220/100000

=0.0022

therefore no. of revolutions to cover 1km=1/0.0022

=454.54(approximately)

hence it will take 455 revolutions.

hope this helps..!

Raunakc: rose ur answer is also wrong
Raunakc: u got 454.54 revolutions , so that would be 455 approx not 454 approx because of laws of rounding off

D = 70cm
R = 70/2
= 35 cm

distance covered in 1 revolution = perimeter
= 2 × 22/7 × 35
= 220 cm
distance needed = 1km = 100000 cm
no. of revolutions = 100000/220
= 454.5454545455
Rounding it off we get 455 revolutions
