The diameter of two circles are 3.5 and 4.2 cm find the ratio of the area of the small circle to that of bigger

area of first circle = π r² = 22/7 x 3.5 x 3.5 = 38.50cm²

Area of second circle = 22/7 x 4.2 x 4.2 = 55.44cm²

38.50 :  55.44

0.25 : 0.36


amnazeer: this answer is wrong i guess.....
amnazeer: when they have asked area .....it has to be pie r square..... u took them as a diameter.....plz if anyone knows post this answer..
