The diameter of wheel is 0.70m find the distance covered by it in 500 revolutions if the wheel takes 5 minutes to make 500 revolutions find its speed in m/s and km/hr

As we know that...1 rev =2πr so the distance covered by the wheel => 500*2π*0.7
Time =2πr/v => 5 =2π*0.7*500/v => v = 2π*0.7*100....now u can put the values and convert the units to get ur desired answer..hope this helped!

1 revolution =circumference
=2*(22/7)*(7/20)=2.2
Distance covered=500*2.2=1100
Time=5min=300sec
Speed=11/3m/sec
Distance =11/10 km
Time=1/12
Speed=12/10=1.2km/hr
