  • Diameter of sphere is 14cm

Given :

  • Area is 616 cm

To find :

  • Diameter of sphere

Solution :

As we know that,

  • Surface area of sphere = 4πr²

》616 = 4πr²

》616 = 4 × 3.14 × r²

》r² = 616 / 3.14 × 4

》r² = 49cm

》r = √49

》r = 7cm

Hence , Radius is 7cm

Now , we have to find the Diameter

As we know that ,

  • Diameter = 2 × r

》Diameter = 2 × r

》2 × 7

》 14cm

Hence , Diameter of sphere is 14cm

  • Surface area of Sphere = 616 cm³.

To Find:-

  • Diameter of Sphere

Formula used:-

  • Radius = \dfrac{Diameter}{2}

  • Surface area of Sphere = 4πr²

Solution:-

Surface area of Sphere = 4πr²

➤ 616 = 4×\dfrac{22}{7}×r²

= \dfrac{616×7}{22×4}

= 7×7

= 49

r = \sqrt{49}

r = 7\:cm

And,

Diameter = 2 × Radius

Diameter = 2 × 7

Diameter = 14 cm.

Hence, the diameter of the given cube is 14 cm.
