The diameters of three circles are in the ratio 3 : 5 : 6. If the sum of the circumferences of these circles be 308 cm; find the difference between the areas of the largest and the smallest of these circles​

Answer:

3x+5x+6x=308

14x=308

X=308/14

X=22

D1=3×22=66cm

D2=5×22=110cm

D3=6×22=132cm

Therefore,R1=D1/2

R1=66/2=33cm

Similarly,R2=110/2=55cm

R3=132/2=66cm

Area Of largest circle=πr^2

=3.14×66×66

=13677.84cm^2

Area of smallest circle=πr^2

=3.14×33×33

=3419.46cm^2

Difference=Area of largest circle-Area of smallest circle

=13677.84-3419.46

=10258.38cm^2
