Ans:- Let the ones place be x and tens place be y

= Therefore the original no = 10y + x

No. obtained by reversing the digits = 10x + y

according to question,

10y + x - (10x + y) = 36

= 10y + x - 10x - y = 36

= 9y - 9x = 36

= 9(y - x) = 36

= y - x = 4

hence the difference between the digit of a number is 4
