2000 \times 40\% = 800
2000 - 800 = 1200
2000 \times 16\% = 320
2000 \times 30\% = 600
2000 - 920 = 1080
so \: the \: difference \: is \: 1200 - 1080 = 120

Answer:

rs 24

Step-by-step explanation:

40% discount on 2000 = (40/100)* 2000 = 800

30%  and 16% successive discount on 2000

(30/100)*2000 + (16/100)(2000 - (30/100)*2000)

= 600 + 16*14

= 600 + 224

= 824

difference 824-800 = 24
