the difference between of the sum of square of two odd consecutive number s is 56 .find the numbers

Here's your answer.......





let one consecutive odd number be x

and let the other consecutive odd number be x+3

given sum of those 2 numbers= 56

i.e

x+x+2=56

2x=56-2

2x=54

x=54/2

x=27


Therefore, one consecutive odd number=x=27

and the other consecutive number= x+2= 27+2= 29

let the 2 consecutive numbers be (X+1) & (X+3)

(X+1) + (X+3) =56
2x+ 4= 56
2x= 56-4
2x= 52
X= 52/2
X= 26
First no.=( X+1 )= 26+1 =27
Second no.=(X+3)= 26+ 3 = 29
