Cell refers to the entire organisation of the basic structural unit of life that includes both cell covers and the protoplasm.
Cell covers include cell wall , glycocalyx(in bacteria) & cell membrane(although many times cell membrane is also considered a part of protoplasm instead of being comsidered seperate from it).
Protoplasm comsists of what we call the cytoplasm , all the organelles and nucleus along with the inclusion bodies and other suspended particles in the cytoplasm.
