Answer: 9 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

x^2-y^2=32

Let the larger square be x

So,

(y+2)^2-y^2=32

y*2+4y+4-y^2=32

4y=28

y=7

Therefore,

x^2-49=32

x^2= 81

therefore,

x= 9

Therefore the side of the larger square is 9 cm
