the difference between the compound interest (compounded anually)and simple interest on a certain sum at 10%per annum for 2 years is rs631. find the sum.

When difference is given for 2 years, Then the formula is

D = PR^2/100^2
Where D= Difference
P= Principal and R= Rate.

Put the values and you will get P = 63100
