let bot the no be x and x+1
thus
(x+1)²-(x)² = 13
x²+2x+1-x²= 13
2x+1 = 13
2x= 13-1
2x= 12
x = 6
thus both the no are 6(x) and 7(x+1)
HOPE it helps

___________☺☺________________
LET THE NUMBERS BE 'x' and 'x+1'
ACC. To . Statement ....
(x)^2 - (x+1)^2 = 13
x^2 - x^2 +1+2x = 13
2x + 1 = 13
2x = 12
x = 6 ..
So ,The numbers be 6 & 7 ✔✔
