The difference between two numbers is 1365.when the larger number is divided by the smaller one ,the quotient is 6 and the remainder is 15.the smaller number is:

According to the question :-
x-y=1365----(i)
And x=y(6)+15
x=6y+15
x-6y=15----(ii)
From(i),we get:x=1365+y------(iii)
Substituting value of x in (ii) we get :1365+y-6y=15
-5y=15-1365
-5y=-1350
y=-1350/-5
y=270
Using value of your in (iii) we get :x=1365+270
x=1635.
Therefore the greater no. is 1635 and smaller no. is 270
