Answer is :-90

Let first no be x and second no be y

ATQ

x-y=18........(i)

And 3x-4y=18....(ii)

On multiplying eq(i) by 3 and then subtracting from eq(ii) we get

3x-3y=54

3x-4y=18

Y=36 so x=90

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the first number be x.

Second number = x - 18

According to Question,

4(x - 18) + 18 = 3x

4x - 72 + 18 = 3x

4x - 54 = 3x

4x - 3x = 54

x = 54

Hence, first number = 54

Second number = 54 - 18 = 36

Thus, sum = 54 + 36 = 90
