The difference between two positive integers is 36. The quotient when one
integer is divided by the other is 4. Find the two integers.​

⇒Other integer=x-36.

Quotient when x is divided by (x-36)=4

According to the question:

\frac{x}{x-36}=4

⇒x=4(x-36)

⇒x=4x-144

⇒4x-x=144

⇒3x=144

⇒x= \frac{144}{3} =48

1st no=48 and 2nd no:48-36=12
