Assuming the cost price of both the shirts are the same.

Difference in profit = 5 - 4 = 1%

Difference in price = Rs 6

Find the cost price:

1% = Rs 6

100% = 6 x 100 = Rs 600

Find the selling price:

Profit at 4% = 4% x 600 = 0.04 x 600 = Rs 24

Selling Price = 600 + 24 = Rs 624

Profit at 5% = 5% x 600 = 0.05 x 600 = Rs 30

Selling Price = 600 + 30 = Rs 630

Answer (1) The cost price is Rs 600 (2) The selling price of one of the shirts is Rs 624 and the other Rs 630
