Let the 3 sides of the triangle be a, b and c.

So, Semi perimeter (x) = (a + b + c) / 2.

Now according to question,

X - a = 8, eq 1

X - b = 7, eq 2 and

X - c = 5. eq 3

So by putting the values of x in eq 1,2 and 3,

We get, a = 12, b = 13 and c = 15.

So Perimeter = a + b + c = 40.
