x+y=90 (complementary angles)
x-y=68
then by solving in the elemination method,we get..,
x=79 and by substituting x=79 in the 1st equation..
we get..,

x+y=180. x-y=68 by solving these two 2x=112. =x=56. putting this in x+y=180. 56+y=180. y= 180-56= 124
