So, the equation goes like this :

Tranpose x to R.H.S, it will be easier as the - sign converts to +. Transpose  $\frac{11}{6}$ to L.H.S.

⇒ $\frac{37}{12}$ - $\frac{11}{6}$ = x

Take LCM.The LCM is 12.

⇒$\frac{37 - 22}{12}$ = x

⇒$\frac{15}{12}$ = x

⇒$\frac{5}{4}$ = x
