let a,b are the two numbers
then a>b
a-b =3
a=3+b -------•eqn 1
a^2-b^2 =69
(a-b)(a+b)=69
3 (a+b)=69
a+b =23-------•eqn 2
substitute 1 in 2
3+b+b = 23
2b =20
b = 10
substitute b value in eqn 1
a=3+10
a=13

hey dear

here is your answer

Let the number be x and y

according to question difference is 3

So,

x - y =3

x = 3 + y

Now we get two number as ( y ) and ( y + 3 )

Also difference of their square is 69

That is x^2 - y ^2 = 69

But x = y + 3

So, ( y + 3 ) ^2 ( - y ) ^2 = 69

y^2 + 3^2 +2 ( 3 ) ( y ) - y^2 = 69

9 + 6 y = 69

6y = 69 - 9

6y = 60

y = 60 / 6

y = 10

second number x = y + 3 = 10 + 3 = 13

hence answer is 10 , 13
