let the number be a and b

and b is greater equal to 292

difference is

b-a = 3a

292 -a = 3a

4a = 292

a = 73

hence smallest number is 73

sum :-

a+b = 73+292

a+b = 365

a+b= 5×73 = 5×a

hence, 5 times is the smaller number contained in their sum.

product:-

a×b = 73×292 = (70+3)×292

=20 440+876 =21316
