Agriculture has been evolving all over the world suitable for climatic conditions and understanding of the science behind agriculture at specific locations. There are similarities and differences at locations geographical and geological situations, same is applicable to Europe and India.
Europe has a cooler climate and thus has different agricultural products as compared to Asian countries. India is a diverse country and has different lands such as hot, cool, mild, humid, and desert. These lands have different agricultural products, methods, and techniques. The very common thing in Indian agriculture is that it mostly depends on the weather and rain. Most of these techniques are traditional and farmers are not ready to adopt new agricultural technologies due to their high cost and no applicability in small lands; whereas more than 60% of Indian farmers are smallholders. In Europe, farmers have comparatively large lands where advanced technologies can be easily implemented. European farmers are adaptable to new techniques and methods in agriculture.
Even though there might be the same product in both regions, the techniques, methods, technologies and processes on the products are totally different due to different culture in the agri-field.
