Given : x⁶ w. r. t x³

To find : differential coefficient of x⁶ w. r. t x³ i

Solution :

differential coefficient means derivative

differential coefficient not necessarily constant.

let say.x³ = t

differentiate wrt t

3x²dx= dt

dx/dt = 1/3x²

x⁶

differentiate wrt t

6x⁵dx/dt

substitute dx/dt value

= 6x⁵ (1/3x²)

= 2x³

2x³ is the differential coefficient of x⁶ w. r. t x³
