Let the unit digit of the original two digit number be x, where x is not equal to 0

Then, the digit at the tens place of the original number is = 3x

then, ATP, we can right that:

The original number :

10(3x) + x

= 30x + x

= 31x

The reversed number :

10x + 3x

= 13x

Therefore, we can write that:

31x + 13x = 88

=》44x = 88

=》x = 88/44

=》x = 2

Therefore the unit digit of the original number = x = 2

the digit in the tens place of the original number = 3x = 6

ANSWER: THE ORIGINAL NUMBER IS 62
