The digit at the tens place of a 2-digit number is three times the digit at the ones place.If the sum of this number and the number formed by reversing its digits is 88,find the number.

hey there,

i hope it helps u out...

lets assume the digit at the unit's place as x..

so the digit at the tens place will be 3x..

since the sum of theirs is 88,

the equation will be....

3x+x=88

x=88/4

x=22...

and the number could be found
